CONSTRUCTION is set to begin next month on $100 million The Crest Burswood overlooking Crown Perth and the city.

Developers Norup + Wilson and EL & EL Group recently awarded the contract to build the 22-storey, mixed-use development on Goodwood Parade to BGC Construction.

Norup + Wilson director Dave Wilson said the building’s design and breathtaking views had secured strong sales.

“We have had a shared level of interest from local and overseas buyers, and we have successfully catered to first-home buyers right through to families and retirees, all wanting to make The Crest their home,” he said.

“The Burswood area has always held its values as a premium location and The Crest’s proximity to the train station, stadium and city cements its position as an enviable address.

The Crest will feature 169 apartments with one, two or three bedrooms and owner-occupier focused amenities including a rooftop cinema, wet and dry kids’ play area and rooftop garden.

“We have taken great care to focus on design efficiencies and longevity,” Mr Wilson said.

“For example, the entire apartment is future proofed with a fibre optics backbone (rather than traditional copper wiring).

“The finishings include ceiling heights up to 2.8m, timber flooring to kitchen areas and the option for buyers to customise their floorplans.

“Many buyers have been amazed with what they could do as we allow them to move internal walls, add extra power and network points.

“Our mantra is that anything is possible as our goal is to ensure that our buyers get keys to an apartment done exactly the way they want it.”

EL & EL director Leroy Lee said The Crest was an iconic apartment development that reflected a luxurious standard of living synonymous with Burswood.

“The layouts of the apartments have been thoughtfully designed with a focus with owner-occupiers in mind,” he said.

“The units are well fitted with quality finishings and appliances, have generous bedroom and living sizes, and some spectacular balcony spaces ranging from 37sq m in some one-bedroom layouts through to a massive 68sq m balcony in one of the two-bedroom layouts.

“We are confident that The Crest will set a new benchmark for the Burswood area.”

The Crest apartments are priced from $372,000 for one-bedroom configurations, from $605,000 for two-bedroom designs, and from $1.9 million for three bedrooms.

Construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019.

The sales office at level 1, suite 101, 19 Ogilvie Rd, Mt Pleasant is open from 9am-5pm daily and from 11am-2pm on weekends.
