Fixed on Brixton: Buyers quick to reserve East Victoria Park apartments

Staff writerSouthern Gazette

BUYERS have been quick to reserve apartments at The Brixton development in East Victoria Park, with five homes reserved since the pre-sales campaign launched earlier this month.

The Momentum Wealth project, in a quiet leafy location off the Albany Highway cafe strip, comprises 36 apartments over four levels around an atrium garden.

It puts residents close to some of Perth’s top restaurants, shops and cafes, along with quick and easy access to Crown Perth, Optus Stadium, Curtin University, airport and CBD.

Momentum Wealth development manager Philip Anderson said early interest in The Brixton proved the highest quality apartment developments in the best locations were still performing well.

“Buyers are extremely knowledgeable about what they want and why they want it, which means developers must ensure the homes and lifestyle they’re offering are of the highest quality,” he said.

“Surrounded by numerous new infrastructure projects, East Vic Park is gentrifying and has excellent long-term growth drivers that should see demand for property increase over the coming years.”

Designed by Meyer Shircore Architects in Subiaco, the apartments feature up to three bedrooms.

Priced from $360,000, the homes range from a 69sq m one-bedroom design to a 147sq m three-bedroom, two-bathroom configuration on the top floor.

All apartments include an outdoor living area, storeroom and parking.

They have engineered stone benchtops, airconditioning, LED downlights, audio intercom system and a data connection point, plus the choice of three kitchen and bathroom colour schemes.

A tall vertical frame will add a striking panel of greenery to the front facade, complementing a grey and white elevation with redbrick boundary walls.
