Basketball: Wesley, Aquinas College players picked for School Sport WA team

TWO local students have been selected to the School Sport WA Boys Basketball Team that will compete in Canberra from today.

Wesley College’s Jack Collard and Aquinas College’s Rowan Mackenzie are a part of the under 18 WA team that will represent their state in the School Sport Australia Basketball Championships, which runs until August 18.

School Sport WA coordinates 42 state teams annually.

Students from public and private schools compete at the School Sport Australia Championships.

These championships are hosted by all states in Australia with WA hosting an average of 3-4 events yearly.
