ALVARO Morata, David Luiz, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and new signing Jorginho headline the 25-man Chelsea squad that will head to Perth today ahead of Monday’s clash with Perth Glory at Optus Stadium.

Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and World Cup winners N’Golo Kante and Olivier Giroud will not be part of the squad after their participation in the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Belgium and France.

English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Brazilian winger Willian also will not feature after representing England and Brazil respectively in Russia.

It will be the first game in charge for new Chelsea FC head coach Maurizio Sarri after his appointment on the weekend.

Newly acquired midfielder Jorginho, who joined from Napoli the same week as Sarri, is set to make his debut against the Glory.

Pre-season preparations for the Blues will begin when they hold an open training session at the WACA Ground on Saturday ahead of Monday’s game.

Perth Glory will head into the game on Monday with high confidence on the back of a 6-0 win over Gwelup Croatia at Dorrien Gardens this week as Tony Popovic’s side continue their pre-season preparation for the A-League season.

Final tickets for the game are still available to buy.

SBS will broadcast the game exclusively from 7.25pm.
