BELMONT 1st Grade bulldozed rivals Karrinyup, who finished the two-day bout all out for 91.

Tirmazi (53), who also took an impressive 4-14, Taylor Tobias (47), Pescud (45) and Higgins (39) left Belmont sitting on a comfortable 260.

It was a different story for Belmont Second grade which, despite the efforts of Martin (51), went down

to Ferndale.

Belmont bowlers McPhee (3-24), McLauchlin (3-44) and Bhatt (2-9) could not stop Ferndale, who ended the two-day game all out for 170.

Belmont Fifth Grade suffered a disappointment against Carlisle, all out for 191 to their rivals’ 250.

Hickey (77) and Nicholls (43) were the only stand-outs, with a weak fielding performance exploited by Carlisle’s strong batting line-up.

Craig Peacock played his 300th game in the One Day grade game against Floreat. Belmont snatched victory in the second-last over with a fantastic run-out by Cam Creighton
