Perth Demons: Clint Jones favourite for Butcher Medal after strong WAFL season

Aaron CorlettSouthern Gazette

THE highs and lows of Perth Demons’ WAFL season will be reflected upon when the club’s best and fairest is being held tonight at Lathlain Park.

Among the favourites for the Butcher Medal is Clint Jones, who polled well at the 2016 Sandover Medal on his way to finishing third.

Jones was a prized recruit after he returned to WA this season after 149 games with St Kilda in the AFL.

The other contenders for the medal are Aiden Tropiano, who polled 20 votes in the Sandover Medal, and Liam McKenna and Julian Jacobs, who both polled well.
