Perth Redbacks take wins over Kalamunda Eastern Suns

PERTH Redbacks enjoyed two victories as part of a double header against the Kalamunda Eastern Suns at Belmont Oasis on Friday.

It was a remarkable offensive explosion from the women’s Redbacks side as they scored their first victory of 2018 under new coach Charles Nix to end up beating the Eastern Suns by 38 points, 111-65.

Perth Lynx star Kayla Standish was the standout for the Redbacks, ending the night with 32 points, 11 rebounds and four steals.

The men’s Redbacks side made it three wins from three as they beat the Eastern Suns 90-63 in Alex Loughton’s last game of the season with the Redbacks.
