SBL: undefeated Redbacks hope to put the bite on the Eagles tonight

THE Perth Redbacks men’s team are looking to continue their good start to the season with a game against East Perth tonight.

After winning its first four games of the season, the team sits on top of the ladder.

The women’s team will also play the East Perth Eagles at Belmont Oasis, starting from 6.30pm before the men take the floor at 8.30pm.

Last weekend was successful for the men’s team with a victory against Kalamunda Eastern Suns 103-86.

Former Wildcats player Shawn Redhage is fourth in the league for scoring, averaging 25.67 points per game.

Teammate Joel Wagner is leading the league in assists with 6.5 per game.

The Redback’s women’s team is sitting ninth of the ladder, with one win and two losses.

However, they come into the match on the back of an 80-54 away win against Kalamunda last weekend.
