Sky Blues face their Demons: WACA Premier Cricket

Staff WriterSouthern Gazette

The high-flying Demons will chase outright points next round after outplaying the Sky Blues on the first day of their two-day Round Six clash.

South Perth were bowled out for 122 with Perth at 1-156 in reply with in-form Jonathan Wells (63*) and debutant Tom Casey (65*) at the crease.

It’s a dream debut for Casey, who forced his way into the Perth First Grade side after three fifties and a century in the past four games in Second Grade.

Earlier, Ryan Duffield claimed 4-23, with Michael Grzinic (2-38) and Liam Guthrie (2-38) in strong support.
