COMMUNITY members have been invited to watch an action-packed soccer tournament in Lathlain later this month.
The Australian Minifootball Federation will hold their first championships at JA Lee Reserve on November 26.
Each team will be made up of six players, with the top four sides from the tournament to play in a championship series in Sydney in March against teams from around Australia.

READ NOWThe winning side from the Sydney tournament will then represent Australia at the Minifootball World Cup in Tunisia in October 2017.
Australian Minifootball Federation vice-president Bryan Raeburn said there would be about 20 teams competing on the day.
“The players come from 11-a-side clubs around Perth, who are in their off-season at the moment, as well as various small-sided competitions like Area 5 Football,” he said.
“They will come from around Perth to play; we are expecting plenty of teams to register as we get closer.”
Australian Minifootball Federation president Miguel Maron said there would be plenty of entertainment for community members on the day.
“We’ll have waterslides, inflatable pitches for kids, a DJ as well as food and drinks,” he said.
Mr Raeburn said the organisation was formed about 18 months ago to allow players to play the sport during the off-season.
“We are going to Canberra soon to talk to the Minister for Sport Sussan Ley about getting funding for our programs,” he said.
“We aren’t recognised by FIFA but we want to be.”
