A win against the Thunder would see Perth just one win outside the top-five but it will not be easy against a Peel team that has won its last two games.

The action begins at Lathlain Park with the colts game at 9am while the Reserves play at 11.30am and finally the league match at 2.15pm.

IT will be a busy schedule of games this weekend for the Perth Redbacks as both the men’s and women’s teams play on Friday and Saturday nights.

The fifth-placed women’s team will play the ninth-placed South West Slammers at 6.30pm tonight at Belmont Oasis.

The men’s team will then take the court at 8.30pm, coming off the back of a loss to the Geraldton Buccaneers.

Despite the loss, the Redbacks are well placed in fourth place but it will be a difficult match against the sixth-placed Slammers.

On Saturday, both teams’ attention will turn to the Lakeside Lightning with a double header at Lakeside Recreation Centre.

The women will play at 6pm, in a match that promises to be tight with the Lightning entering the round in sixth place.

Tip-off for the men’s match is 8pm and it again looks like it will be a tight affair with Lakeside only one position below the Redbacks on the ladder.
