JUNIOR players from around WA and players from interstate competed not just for the title at the Hensman Park Junior Tennis Tournament, but for national ranking points.
More than 250 players took part in the tournament from April 24 to 29, playing a staggering 520 matches across five days in groups ranging from under 10s to under 18s.
Hensman Park Tennis Club member Ken McIntosh said a new feature this year was a mostly ‘Doubles Only’ day, followed by a sausage sizzle on the Saturday.
