Swimming: Southside Penhros Wesley Swimming Club to compete at championships

NEARLY 50 swimmers from the Southside Penrhos Wesley Swimming Club (SSPW) will compete at the Hancock Family Medical Foundation Junior Long Course Championships.

The competition, open to swimmers aged between 7 and 12 who have made state qualifying times, begins at HBF Stadium on Friday from 6pm.

Swimmers will compete in both individual and relay events.

More than 53 WA metropolitan and regional clubs will compete at the event with Southside Penrhos Wesley fielding the third highest number of competitors.

SSPW has retained its A Grade Swimming Club status following the recent A Division Club Premierships held in March.
