AQUINAS College students saw a spike in form as they competed in volleyball competitions.
They had a successful season, winning the Public Schools Association (PSA) Br Carrigg Shield and annual Rossmoyne/Aquinas clash.
The College’s teams were undefeated across all year groups throughout the PSA season.
The annual Rossmoyne/Aquinas clash, now in its second year, saw Aquinas players compete against teams from Rossmoyne’s specialty Volleyball program last week.
Aquinas teams won every game – Year 8, 9, 10 and Open – to clinch the title for this year.
The volleyball action continued when some students competed at the Australia Junior Beach Volleyball Championships at Scarborough Beach on April 6 to 9. The two teams who played for the Bronze in the U15 Boys had Aquinas students on both sides – Samuel Bateman, Dane Ukich and Oliver Oaten won Bronze in U15 against Samuel McLean, Samuel Wilhelm and Lochlan Watson.
