South Perth posted 232 before being bowled out, with Trent Ovens returning to form with 76 at the top of the order.

Rob Jones scored his second half-century in a row, but all other batsmen struggled to build a big score.

Clint Hinchliffe took excellent figures of 3-21, while James Boyland took two wickets on his return to the side.
