Balcatta builder wins twice at Master Builders Excellence in Construction Awards

A BALCATTA building company had a double win at the Master Builders-Bankwest Excellence in Construction Awards.

PS Structures won the best industrial building ($5-$10 million) category for the PlusLife bone and tissue bank in Midland.

Architects Cameron Chisholm Nicol designed the $10 million headquarters, which is linked to PlusLife’s heritage-listed administration building.

PS Structures also picked up best seniors multi-unit development ($10-$20 million) for Bethanie on the Park in Menora.

The same award in the $20-$50 million category went to BGC Constructions for the St Ives Carine development, while Badge won best aged care building ($20-$50 million) for Regis Aged Care Woodlands.

The extension of Hale School’s Brine boarding house was awarded best refurbishment or renovation under $1.5 million for the Cassari Group.

The Wembley Downs project was also named best education building under $1.5 million.

The best education building ($5-$10 million) was Our Lady of Grace School in North Beach, by Focus Building Company.

Probuild Constructions won best multi-unit development ($50-$100 million) for the Stirling Cross apartments in Innaloo.
