Balcatta: Jetts Fitness donation helps breast cancer recovery

A BALCATTA business has given $1200 to help women recover from breast cancer surgery.

Jetts Fitness Balcatta donated $10 from every pass bought by new members between June and August to Young Women’s Christian Association of WA (YWCA) Perth in Osborne Park.

The funds will be used for its Encore program, which is free for women who have had breast cancer surgery and targets the side effects of surgery and treatment through mobility, stretching, aerobic and resistance exercises.

Women also have access to information via guest speakers, links to local services and can connect with others who have had a similar experience.
