A NAME synonymous with Australia’s entertainment industry has teamed up with Perth-based footwear label Paul Carroll Shoes.

The family-owned retailer, which Paul Carroll founded in Tuart Hill 45 years ago, has recruited Patti and Lauren Newton to promote its Spring/Summer collection.

Managing director and Paul’s son, John Carroll, said the women had been customers since the brand opened its first Melbourne store and were fans of its Klouds and Silver Linings footwear.

“Being an Australian owned and operated business we take pride in our heritage and felt that having an Australian entertainment icon like Patti as our Klouds brand ambassador would be a perfect fit,” he said.

“We felt having both Patti and Lauren as ambassadors showcases the versatility of the brand and celebrates our Australian heritage.”

Logie Award winner Patti said she loved the comfort and support of the Klouds range, while daughter Lauren wore the fashionable Silver Linings brand.

“I spend a lot of time on my feet every day, so I love that Silver Linings designs are stylish as well as comfortable; perfect for women on the go,” she said.

The business, which has stores in Joondalup, Stirling, Morley, Perth, Burswood and Fremantle, has also enlisted Perth firefighter and ex-The Bachelorette Australia contestant Cam Cranley to be the face of its latest men’s collection.

Paul Carroll Shoes is still locally and family-owned and run, with the younger Carroll’s wife, sister and nephew all involved in the business.
