‘Tinder for beauty’: Carine mum launches new app Pretty Pronto

Laura PondStirling Times

A CARINE mother has launched an app she describes as like “Tinder for beauty”.

Louise Walker developed Pretty Pronto to streamline the process of finding beauty businesses and booking appointments.

Users create unique personal profiles, enter their location and availability, and are shown beauty businesses in their area and the services they provide.

Ms Walker said her idea came from her own experience of struggling to make an appointment one afternoon.

“After countless phone calls and wasted time, when I eventually found a salon with an available appointment, my time was up, and motherly duties beckoned again,” she said.

“We live in such a fast-paced world and while everyone juggles varying schedules, Pretty Pronto makes booking appointments simple.”

She planned to expand the app beyond Perth and hoped it would become “an essential component” of the beauty industry.

The free app can be downloaded from the Apple app store.
