WITH heaps of festive fare to tantalise the tastebuds, Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

Here’s five of our favourite Christmas-themed sweet treats for the 2018 holiday season.

If you can’t wait for your serve of plum pudding on the big day, Koko Black has a treat that’s bound to be love at first bite. The premium chocolate maker’s Plum Pudding Bites are bite-sized spiced fruit centres coated in white chocolate. Can you stop at one? Grab a 200g jar at $16.50 to find out.

Your Christmas will truly roc with these colourful candies. Roc Candy’s medium jar of Christmas mix features about 40 pieces of their 10 best-selling flavours for $13.50. There’s also a small jar of about 20 pieces that’s $9 and baubles with about 35 pieces for $11.50. If you’re planning to rock around the Christmas tree with lots of friends this season, consider the 1kg option of about 300 pieces at $55.

Here’s a Christmas tree you’re bound to pine after. Part of Krispy Kreme’s Christmas range, it’s a doughnut covered in green icing, white chocolate truffle drizzle and sprinkles, with a choc-coated wafer trunk. We also like the Krispymas Pudding, which is full of creamy custard. Snowy, Santa Sprinkles and a Wreath made with M&M’s complete the range. At $3.50 each, they don’t cost much dough. You, your family and friends can really get into the holiday spirit with the Krispymas Dozen (12 festive doughnuts), which is $26.95.

Wish your loved one a Merry Christmas with a Mrs Fields’ Cookie Cake. There are nine flavours to choose from and a great range of festive designs, with each cake priced at $44.95. There’s even cookie Christmas cards to choose from for the foodie in your life.

While we love all of Miss Maud’s treats for festive celebrations at home, in the office, by the beach or at family picnics, we think these cupcakes are super cute. A Santaland Cupcake is $4 each and you can get a platter of 18 cupcakes for $70.20. Make sure you check out Miss Maud’s entire range of Christmas fare.

So go on, have yourself a sweet Christmas!
