Alexander said he had performed in many children’s shows.

“Kids are so keen to join in that they always gravitate to the front of the stage,” he said.

“It was my vision to create a show which includes them.

“This is how our ‘immersive’ zone was born. There are lots of opportunities to be part of the fun.”

King believed the show would appeal to everyone.

“We’ve mixed classic songs with current favourites so that ‘kids’ of all ages can sing along,” she said.

“Some of my friends without children are already planning to bring nieces and nephews.”

Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite character for the shows, being held at Brighton Reserve in Scarborough.
