Almost 150 caterers and restaurant and caf� operators across the State were judged in more than 40 categories, including consumer vote, caterer of the year and lifetime achiever.

Owner Donald Collins said he was proud of the win.

‘I am so proud of the huge support from our amazing team,’ he said.

‘The past and present all have helped us achieve this great accolade.’

Restaurant and Catering Australia chief executive John Hart congratulated all the winners, saying they demonstrated professionalism and excellence in their field. ‘The winners should be proud that they have excelled in a rigorous system, where nothing goes unnoticed,’ he said.

Other winners included Bassendean-based Beaumonde Catering (Caterer of the Year) and Cosmic Cocktails and Catering (Consumer Vote Award).

Winners will now compete at the National Awards for Excellence to be held in Melbourne in October.
