An ideal way to celebrate a summer weekend and what the State has to offer, it will be located on the Sunset Veranda on the grass reserve at Scarborough Beach and will bring wine and food to the beach in a stylish format for the first time.

Richard Campbell, director of event managers CMS Events, founders of the original Wine and Food Festival, said he hoped the event drew about 2000 people.

‘It is the first time in Scarborough and together with the wine industry we have been looking to stage a series of wine events in the metro area that can promote WA wines to consumers,’ he said.

‘This coincided with the request by the City of Stirling to look at doing something with them for the Summerset Arts Festival.’
