“Greenarella is focused on contemporary environmental issues and the dangers we face as a society and how we need to care for our environment,” he said.

“A key theme of the performance is focused on the ‘plastics issue’, which was requested by the students.

“The additional skills, knowledge and understandings that students develop through a purposeful drama program can help them to form habits applicable to all areas of future academic and social endeavours.”

Wall said she was grateful to share her love of drama with the students.

“It’s been so lovely to watch these students embrace the process of live performance and dive bravely into a world they may not have ventured into before,” she said.

“We’ve seen creativity and confidence grow, witnessed students make new connections, and learn and change throughout the process.”

The performance is at Churchlands Concert Hall on Thursday, November 29.
