INNALOO resident Gladys McKinley has celebrated her 100th birthday.

Friends and family gathered to mark the May 15 milestone at her home at Shawford Lodge.

Daughter Sue McKinley said the centenarian was in “very great spirits” and was excited she received a letter from Queen Elizabeth II.

Another Shawford Lodge resident, Gladys Rankin, celebrated her 100th birthday on April 23.
