All things Italian at Osborne Park’s Casa Nostra

CASA Nostra Caffe co-owner David Serra decided Osborne Park needed a place for people to enjoy a “beautiful Italian pasta or pizza with a pinot grigio”.

Mr Serra and his wife and co-owner Alexia Serra, pictured above, noticed a gap in the hospitality market and decided to open the European-inspired café with an extensive beer and wine list.

“I believe that Osborne Park needed a different style of food and ambiance,” Mr Serra said.

“A place to get a quick fresh and healthy meal to take away and a place to stay and have a beautiful Italian pasta or pizza with a lovely pinot grigio or even an amazing coffee.”

The King Edward Road cafe has chefs with European experience.

“We have multiple chefs in the kitchen, all with extensive European experience and Alexia has been involved with food her entire life,” Mr Serra said.

“They all share the load as we make everything in-house from the cakes, sandwiches, flutes, frittatas, pasta, pizzas and everything in between.”

The couple said they named their café Casa Nostra, which translates as “our home”, as they believe the kitchen and food is “the heart of the home”.
