POLICE have seized 40 allegedly stolen items from a Balcatta home.

They searched the house after identifying two suspects from CCTV footage, who used an allegedly stolen credit card to make 12 fraudulent purchases.

The credit card was in a handbag stolen from a home on Lycium Quays in Stirling in the early hours of October 21 and contained car keys, which were used to steal a white Audi sedan from outside the property.

Police allege items found at the Balcatta house were stolen during the Stirling burglary and fraudulently purchased using the victim’s credit card but the car has not been recovered.

A 26-year-old woman and 39-year-old man were each charged with fraud, attempted fraud and receiving stolen goods.

The man is also facing drugs possession charges and will appear in court on November 20.
