A BALCATTA photographer has won a WA photography award.
Viva Life Photography Balcatta head photographer Jessica Truscott was named the Australian Institute of Professional Photography’s WA Family Photographer of the Year.
Ms Truscott previously won the award in 2013 and was a finalist in the past few years.

READ NOW“To be awarded for the work I create every day with Perth families is an honour,” she said.
“Every family is unique and I love showing that through beautiful studio portraits that are special to them and capture their personalities, I feel grateful to be a part of these moments.”
She said her goal was to ensure families were relaxed and having fun when being photographed to ensure their personalities shone through in the images.
“As a photographer I am curious about peoples making sure their artwork reflects their lives in a creative and beautiful way,” she said.
“I want to make sure they have great memories to look back on the day of their photo shoot as well as gorgeous images to hang up on their wall.”
