A BALCATTA school needs help finding buried time capsules.

Takari Primary School is celebrating its 50th anniversary in November and wants to unearth time capsules believed buried on the school grounds.

Principal David Tennant said they were seeking information from anyone who might know where they are.

“Past students and staff all say that the capsule or capsules were buried,” he said.

“We’ve tried a few locations without any success.”

Mr Tennant urged anyone who knew the location/s of the capsules to contact the school.

Call 9349 5607 or email takari.ps@education.wa.edu.au.

The anniversary celebration will be held on November 16.
