COMBINING fun and fitness, Beatty Park Leisure Centre in North Perth boasts a wide variety of health and fitness activities for people of all ages.

Owned and operated by the City of Vincent, the centre was built in 1962 for the British Empire and Commonwealth Games and has become one of Perth’s premier recreation facilities.

Beatty Park Leisure Centre was redeveloped in 2013 and now comprises modern facilities such as indoor and outdoor pools, that are heated year round, a 750sq m gym, two group fitness and one spin class room, swim school, a crèche, café, swimwear shop and on-site physiotherapist.

The centre is home to several of the State’s best swimming, water polo, triathlon and synchronised swimming clubs.

The award winning Beatty Park Swim School provides swimming lessons for babies, children and adults and it runs the Angelfish integrated swimming program for people with disabilities.

The program is fully staffed by qualified and experienced staff.

Recreational swimmers can access the four indoor and outdoor heated pools, with casual, multi-entry card and membership options available.

Children love the leisure pool and heated water slides, which make for a fun and active day out.

Apart from numerous items which are made on site, the café offers birthday parties, with the centre’s staff taking care of things so parents can relax.

Beatty Park Leisure Centre’s gym features state of the art equipment and if you need extra help, the passionate personal training staff can tailor a program to fit your health and fitness goals.

There are more than 100 group fitness classes are on offer, including yoga, Zumba, Les Mills programs, RPM and aqua fitness.

When you need to relax, head to the sauna, spa or steam room and if your bathers are looking a bit tired check out the huge range at the swim shop.
