Bethanie celebrates 65 years

NOT-FOR-PROFIT aged care provider Bethanie celebrates its 65th anniversary today.

Bethanie started in Joondanna as a home for seniors and now cares for more than 4500 West Australian residents and has facilities in 24 locations from Geraldton to Bunbury.

Peg Eaton was a foundation board member for Churches of Christ Homes in 1954 and now lives at Bethanie Geneff.

Chief executive Chris How has worked at Bethanie for nearly 11 years.

“It has been a long and rewarding journey for Bethanie,” Mr How said.

“From our humble beginnings of seven residents, to now caring for over 4500 Western Australian seniors, we are both honoured and proud.”
