FUNDRAISING and a hefty donation has helped Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) WA in Carine buy a new ute.

Organisers of the All Ford Day, run by the local Falcon GT and Mustang owners clubs, donated $10,000 from entry fees of the event to the non-profit organisation for the Ford Ranger ute.

RDA Carine raised funds for the remainder, holding open days during the year to help with the purchase.

The group will use the car for towing a trailer to pull a horse float for emergency vet visits, take horses and equipment to events, pick up feed and dispose of manure.

RDA Carine provides therapeutic horse riding activities to people with a disability and welcomes volunteers.
