FORENSIC teams are on the scene of a fatal fire following the discovery of a body among the debris.

A blaze ripped through a homeĀ on Wanneroo Road in Tuart Hill yesterday, with emergency services called at around 8.55am.

At about 10.25am a body was found in the debris.

Homicide and arson squad detectives have been called in to investigate the fire, which completely destroyed the house.

The cause of the fire and the circumstances of the death have not yet been determined.

A spokesman for WA Police said: “The investigation into the cause of the fire is continuing today.

“Investigators would like to speak to anyone that was in the area at the time of the fire, in particular at the early stages,” he added.
