Boomerang champ visits Tuart Hill PS

TUART Hill Primary School students enjoyed a lesson with a difference when competitive boomerang thrower Roger Perry visited on Friday.

The multiple Australian Boomerang Champion runs Rangs Boomerangs and taught students about aerodynamics, how to throw a boomerang and its cultural history.

Principal Beverley Innes said students were thrilled with the visit.

“This opportunity continued to help our current students incorporate culturally responsive attitudes, values and behaviours into our everyday experiences as we make links with the diverse cultural history of Tuart Hill, and the relevance of this land to the First Australians ,” she said.
