Burrow, the 2015 Activ ambassador, shared his surfing knowledge at Trigg beach for a two-hour lesson in conjunction with Surfing WA and encouraged the participants to challenge themselves.

The former second-ranked surfer in the world said the Activ Foundation helped make a positive difference in the lives of many people living with a disability.

"Im a proud West Australian and Im stoked to be on board as the Activ ambassador in this year's City to Surf," Burrow said.

"The surf school was a great chance to meet some of the people who are helped by Activ each and every day."
