Car set on fire outside Perth pub

Laura PondStirling Times

A MAN is facing court after allegedly setting fire to a car parked outside an Innaloo pub.

Staff at The Saint first saw the man at 12.15am on August 18 climb on to the bonnet of a red Mazda in the hotel carpark and kick the car windscreen, causing damage.

Police attended but the man had left.

He allegedly returned to the venue carpark at 1.40am and took a 5L jerry can full of petrol from the tray of a ute, which he used to douse a Holden Astra and set alight.
