THE 25th Carols at Scarborough returns this Sunday.

Family entertainment starts at 6pm on Sunday, December 8 and the gold coin donation at entry will go to Muscular Dystrophy WA as well as proceeds from the sale of candles, song books and raffle tickets on the evening.

Hosted by the Scarborough Beach Association, the carols event will take place in the Scarborough amphitheatre and will feature a 12ft Christmas tree where people can donate a gift that will be distributed to local disadvantaged families and the homeless by Local Community Church.

Father Christmas will make an appearance along with MDWA’s mascot Quinn the Quokka.

There will be performances by the Australian Army Band Perth and members of the Churchlands Choral Society as well as fireworks to conclude the event to be hosted by Simon Beaumont.
