WA Police has expanded from four to eight districts to align better with local government areas.
Suburbs in the City of Stirling, formerly part of the North West Metropolitan area, are now within the Mirrabooka district.
The 142sq km area includes sub-districts of Scarborough, Mirrabooka, Morley and Bayswater.
