Charges follow scooter pursuit in Osborne Park

About 2pm on November 26, police attempted to stop two people riding on a black scooter at the intersection of Hutton and Main streets.

The rider attempted to evade police but the pair were stopped shortly after.

It is alleged that a search of their bag revealed a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia, which included heroin, morphine, methamphetamine and cannabis.

A 43-year-old man was charged with possessing heroin with intent to sell and supply, ready access to weapons and drugs, possessing ‘homebake’ heroin, amphetamine, morphine tablets, cannabis, a glass smoking implement, possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained cash, failing to stop for police, no authority to drive and driving an unregistered vehicle.

He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on December 18.
