About 2pm on November 26, police attempted to stop two people riding on a black scooter at the intersection of Hutton and Main streets.
The rider attempted to evade police but the pair were stopped shortly after.
It is alleged that a search of their bag revealed a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia, which included heroin, morphine, methamphetamine and cannabis.
