“It’s been a wonderful experience to work with such a broad age demographic in a single school environment,” he said.

“The workshop format has meant that each of the students has been able to engage with their creativity and explore different techniques in art.”

Teacher Maree Grayden said Quilty also ran an open workshop with parents and families.

The school is hosting its student art show on October 10, which will feature the mural, student artwork and pieces by Quilty.

It is open to the public and runs from 5pm at the school auditorium.
