CHURCHLANDS Senior High School Year 7 student Kate Dreyer will have her sticker design stuck on school bins after winning a statewide competition.

The 12-year-old student won the Design a Bin Competition, which was implemented by Keep Australia Beautiful WA to promote community awareness and a litter-free state.

Churchlands Senior High School junior program co-ordinator Adrian Lee said the school wanted to change littering behaviour.

“We are hoping that this will encourage other students to support this worthy initiative and become more aware of the importance of being environmentally healthy,” he said.
