MEMBERS of the public have apprehended a man allegedly lighting a fire in Balga on Sunday.
The 45-year-old man is alleged to have lit a fire in scrub at the corner of Fletching and Climping streets in Balga at about 5.20pm.
Bushfire warning issued for Wellard
The fire was small and did not threaten property but the man sustained non-life threatening burns to his hands, arm and leg.

He was admitted to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment.
The Arson Squad and Mirrabooka Detectives are investigating the incident.
