City of Stirling to host forum about proposed rezoning in North Beach

THE City of Stirling is hosting an information evening about proposed rezoning in North Beach.

The March 22 event will provide details about plans to rezone lots on Flora Terrace and Malcolm and Castle streets to ‘local centre’ uses, such as shops and restaurants.

It follows a parking and urban design study for Flora Terrace in 2016-17, which identified how more car parking could be provided and how the City could help support and develop businesses in the area.

Feedback is invited on the proposed planning scheme amendment until April 10.

The information evening will run on March 22 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at North Beach Community Centre.
