City Wine: tempt tastebuds with new wines

NEW releases, unusual wines, trendy cocktails, quality street food and entertainment will all feature at the City Wine event this weekend at the Urban Orchard at the Perth Cultural Centre.

City Wine organiser Richard Campbell, who also runs the Sunset Wine in Scarborough, said there would be about 40 exhibitors at the event, including some of the state’s leading boutique wine producers, a range of Perth’s favourite food vendors and a selection of craft brewers, ciders and spirits.

“There will be plenty of new releases, unusual wines and wines you haven’t yet discovered,” Mr Campbell said.

Visitors will be able to sample wines and buy a glass of wine to enjoy while listening to live music or bottles to take away which can be stored in the complimentary ‘wine locker’ until patrons are ready to leave.

An entertainment lounge will also be available and a garden courtyard for visitors to enjoy a glass of wine and meal.
