Comancheros-affiliated Joondanna man charged with gun and drug possession

POLICE have charged a bikie-affiliated Joondanna man with weapons and drug offences.

Gang Crime Squad officers allegedly seized a Carrera 9mm pistol, Chicopee Fall sawn off shotgun and a .45 Cal Colt replica pistol, as well as steroids and cocaine after searching a Powell Street home on Thursday.

Police said the 27-year-old man was associated with the Comancheros outlaw motorcycle gang.

He was charged with having ready access to weapons and illegal drugs, five counts of drug possession, two counts of possession a firearm with circumstances of aggravation and possessing a firearm and ammunition without a licence.
