The annual run around Lake Gwelup reserve brings the local community together to make it all happen, including the generous support of businesses, clubs and parents.

According to event coordinator Deb Dover, it aims to promote the benefits of an active lifestyle.

‘It’s great to see everyone out walking and running; it’s a really positive thing that the school does to encourage kids and families to get out and be active,’ Mrs Dover said.

And with the event in its 15th year, it had become a school tradition.
