Councillor Karen Caddy presented an alternative motion that would have planning issues like car parking ratio and waste management addressed.

Stirling planning and development director Ross Povey said the plan currently only allowed for .75 car spaces per dwelling.

Cr Caddy recommended to council that the MRA brief councillors before the scheme is adopted.

The MRA’s Scarborough Redevelopment Master Plan was endorsed by the Council in June last year.
