IT is alleged a man (31) of no fixed address used a tyre iron to hit a woman and a man in separate incidents on April 2.

Senior Sergeant Craig Wanstall said it would be alleged the woman was hit with the iron in a domestic argument on Bowers Street Scarborough, suffering a 2cm cut to her temple, about 8.25am.

Sgt Wanstall said it would be alleged the man used a tyre iron on another man, who suffered no injury, near a ute on Shearn Crescent in Doubleview.

The alleged attacker was remanded in custody to face aggravated robbery and wounding charges at Perth Magistrates Court on June 4.

IT is alleged a White Gum Valley man (46) hit a bouncer and stole his identity card at Oceans 6019 bar, Manning Street, on April 4.

“We will allege he hit the security officer and an off-duty police officer,” Sgt Wanstall said.

The man was bailed to face charges of assault and theft at Perth Magistrates Court on June 12. Information from the public helped trace the man.

A POSTAL contractor’s van is missing after it was stolen with 100 packages on Brighton Road about 1.20pm on April 8.

Sgt Wanstall said “someone got in and drove away” while the driver sorted packages when it was parked with keys in its ignition.

The Toyota Hiace, registration 1GQW 259, was still missing late last week.
