PARENTS and teachers of a Doubleview school have worked together to create a stunning nature play area.
They fundraised and held working bees at Holy Rosary School to transform a sandy space into a learn-through-play nature area for pre-primary students.
The playground includes a creek and sluice gate, row boat, deck and a fairy garden under a large gum tree.
Principal Mark de Kluyver said it was the fourth nature play area established by the school community in four years.
“Our parents are real partners in creating opportunities for their children,” he said.
