DOUBLEVIEW youngster Dylan Moyses has walked 20km to help sick children.

The 11-year-old did a coastal walk from East Fremantle to Scarborough to raise money for Telethon.

“I wanted to help the kids that need it,” he said.

“They should just be able to be kids instead of being sick and having to go through all of that.”

Dylan’s mother Chelsey, sister Emma (7) and grandfather Bill Ryan joined him along the way.

He raised nearly $900 and plans to increase the walk by 5km each year.

“Doing the walk was fun and I felt really proud at the end that I had actually done it and was able to raise that amount of money,” he said.

“It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be so I’ll have to walk further next year.”
